The sun, the moon, and the stars in the solar system are not older than each other.

Psalms 148:3 ASV
(3)  Praise ye him, sun and moon: Praise him, all ye stars of light.

The elements of the solar system were made on the same day. Their age pales in comparison to the timeless age of the waters and the earth.

Jesus, on day 4 of the creation of our world, put the sources of lights up into our sky or firmament to create our time, to begin the reckoning of our solar time.

None of the elements of the solar system can be used to calculate the age of the waters and of the earth because their age began a couple of days after the making of our universe and before the making of man and animals.

According to reasoned bible Science, the solar system carries the same age as mankind or is as young as the biblical age of our universe, within some couple of days.

Genesis 1:14-19 ASV
(14)  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years:
(15)  and let them be for lights in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
(16)  And God made the two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
(17)  And God set them in the firmament of heaven to give light upon the earth,
(18)  and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
(19)  And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.

Is knowledge of the age of you universe part of the plan of salvation? Must we know the age of the earth to believe or to be saved? May we contradict Jesus in the narrative of His creative works?
